General Terms and Conditions
1. Upon acceptance of this contract, SCOTTʼS TRANSPORTATION SERVICES agrees to provide transportation to and or from the designated locations and dates of service. Though we will always strive to be on time, due to heavy traffic, construction and even weather conditions may all cause delays on occasion.
2. Any time that your child will not require transportation as scheduled, notification must be made to SCOTTʼS TRANSPORTATION no less than (12) hours prior to scheduled pick-up time. Parents/Legal guardian must email scottstransportation1@gmail.com or call and leave a message (832)583-9992. Failure to provide this notification there will be a $25 service charge due prior to service continuing.
3. SCOTTʼS TRANSPORTATION does not provide REFUNDS or Credit for absences, cancellations, holidays, school breaks, sick days, expulsions or suspensions. All fees are prepaid and non-refundable.
4. We will do our utmost to provide reasonable drive times, but our routes may routinely change pending location. All pickup and drop-off times are estimates and subject to vary as our school changes.
5. Due to consideration for all our customers, maximum wait time at each stop is three minutes. If the child is not at the agreed pick-up location, we will make 3 ATTEMPTS TO CONTACT YOU, if we are unsuccessful, the van will leave.
6. If for some reason, SCOTTʼS TRANSPORTATION fails to pick up your child due to an unplanned or emergency situation, you will be credited with that absence on your next payment. If we are unable to provide transportation for any reason, you will receive a (10) day notice.
7. Seat belts are required to be worn by all passengers at all times. SCOTTʼS TRANSPORTATION requires the right to terminate transportation for any child that does not cooperate with the use of seat belts.
8. SCOTTʼS TRANSPORTATION reserves the right to cancel this agreement without notice at anytime due to disciplinary problems with a child are driver of the van.
9. SCOTTʼS TRANSPORTATION is not reliable for the health, safety or welfare of your child once your child is dropped off at agreed destination.
10. The cost to any damage of our property caused by a rider is the responsibility of the Parent/Guardian.
PREPAYMENT IS REQUIRED: Full payment must be made paid in full by date established for pick-up. All prepaid transportation services are non-refundable.
SERVICE FEE: Services are recorded weekly, biweekly/monthly rates are also available.
SIBLING DISCOUNTS: First child pays regular price, additional children in the family receives $5-10 off per child.
LATE FEE: You will be charged a late fee of $5.00 each day until paid in full.
NO SHOW: We want to make sure each child is dropped off safely. If your child is unable to be left at the specified drop-off location due to being locked out, an adult not being there upon arrival, unforeseen changes in your child extracurricular activities, etc., SCOTTʼS TRANSPORTATION will contact the parent/guardian to get an alternative drop off location.There will be a $15.00 surcharge if driver has to wait in delaying other riders. Parents please have a back-up plan for these situations and discuss them with your child.
CLEAN-UP FEE: $30.00 for every accident and or/illness on vehicle By signing this agreement I accept and agree to the terms and conditions established.
